MARC BAAKLINY
Marc's journey in the world of advertising commenced in Lebanon following the completion of studies. Fluent in French, Arabic, and English, he earned a BA in Design and Art Direction from the American University of Culture and Education in Beirut. With close to five years of hands-on experience across different in-house and local agencies, Marc's yearning to transform into a creative globetrotter became evident. Fueled by the desire to challenge more advertising norms, he embarked on a new chapter by joining WT KSA in 2014.
Throughout his career, Marc gathered a wealth of international exposure, honing his skills in crafting innovative solutions for a diverse clientele. His portfolio showcases well-established names including STC (Saudi Telecom Company), Coca-Cola (global), Shell (global), HSBC (global), SABB, Johnson & Johnson, Rock, Al Safi, Al Arabia, Ma’aden, Flynas, Toyota, Jarir, Saudi Ministry of Health, GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation), GCA (General Cultural Authority), DSC (Donner Sang Compter), and many other esteemed entities across the Middle East.
Amidst this journey, Marc's accomplishments have shone bright with numerous national and international accolades adorning his path. These include Cannes Lions' shortlist recognition, Gold, Silver, and Bronze wins at Dubai Lynx, the Gold award from the Young Lynx Print Competition, and a prestigious Grand-prix, Gold, and Silver distinctions at The Lories Mena/Africa.
Moreover, Marc's achievements extend to securing Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards at Effies Mena, along with the Special Long-Term Idea accolade from WARC, and Gold and Mena Crystal recognition.
